The Playdough of Nature

About 100 years ago, a physicist called Albert Einstein discovered something very important (that's way he's so famous!): he said that matter is a very concentrated form of energy. So if energy and matter are the same thing, you can create matter with energy and you can create energy with matter.

Energy is the "playdough" of nature!

Of course, to make matter you need A LOT of it, and very much concentrated in space. But if you could have it, you can make a universe out of it! You have three molds: one for the proton, one for the electron and one for the neutron.

And remember: every time you make one of these particle, you'll leave a hole in the dough: its antiparticle!
Particles and antiparticles are always created together, out of energy.
